Special Event host, Carol Wold, (right) Vice President Public Affairs for FivePoint Communities, assisted here by Lacie Daniels, personally welcomed early arrivals at Irvine’s Great Park 5th anniversary celebration at the company’s Hanger #10 Garden Facility on Saturday afternoon. FivePoint Communities, is the development manager of the former El Toro Marine Corps Air Station (now Great Park Neighborhoods)

Largly orchestrated by Creative Cuisine Catering’s special event coordinator, Marguerite Hinger, guests enjoyed live musical entertainment, and family fun activities into the early evening. Along with theme décor props and logistic event equipment for the added comfort of the guests, Creative Cuisine provided complementary cold orange juice and lemonade, along with 10,000 freshly baked, hand decorated, cookies for the festive multitudes.

Waves of excited youngsters (with parents in tow) especially enjoyed the canopied petting zoo, replete with all manner of kid-friendly critters, including a zebra and this adorable baby camel who in the opinion of many stole the show. Other family activities included a free raffle for bicycles and a scavenger hunt. Oh yes, the hosts also provided complementary theme decorated water bottles and Frisbees for all . . .

In addition to guest ascents in the Great Park's signature Giant Orange Balloon, attendees additionally enjoyed hourly aerial exhibitions and daring skydiving displays . . .

Orange County Caterers Creative Cuisine just catered another successful fundraiser for the Orange Public Library and Local History Center.The spectacular TommyBahama themed event was held at major benefactors, Mike and Brenda Carver's sprawling Cowan Heights estate.

The catering was orchestrated by Priscilla Selman, an ardent and long time supporter of the library. Priscilla serves as the prestigious foundation's Secretary and Special Events Chair.The evnt netted over $124,000 that will be used to assist Orange Public Libraries, a resounding success.

The 230 festive partygoers enjoyed casual social networking with cocktails while sampling an assortment of

The Entree included: Coconut Lime Shrimp, Bahama Beef Skewers, Rice Pilaf w/ Lemon Grass, Basil and Fresh Mint, and decorative Asparagus Bundles, hand tied with ribbon strips of Leeks.

Orange County Caterer CREATIVE CUISNE provided catering service at the commissioning ceremony for the Navy's new $1 billion USS DEWEY DDG 105 (Guided Missile Destroyer) on Saturday. Estimated attendance was 4000 guests. The stealthy 509-foot vessel boasts state of the art electronics and weapon systems.

Although, the DEWEY will call San Diego its home port, the ceremony was held at the Naval Weapons Station dock in Seal Beach, (near the entrance to Huntington Harbor) where the DEWEY will routinely load much of its ordinance. The ship carries an impressive arsenal of the latest technology and weaponry.

It was truly a yeoman's effort to transform my home into a venue that could comfortably hold the number of attendees that we had for this special occasion.

Throughout the night, your staff made sure that everyone's needs and wants were met and exceeded. We recognize the challenges that the number of guests provided, especially given the size of our home. However, you and your staff made sure that everyone had a fabulous time.
